Where to start if you only have a weekend
The original Matrix (1999) is a complete story on its own and the only truly essential entry. Reloaded and Revolutions were shot back-to-back and should be watched together if you continue; Resurrections is optional and largely a meta-commentary on the franchise's legacy rather than a straight continuation.
